Get jolly with us! We have multiple exciting festive events to look forward to this season. Including our anticipated Gardening Club Exclusive Christmas Shopping Day, as well as guests Albacappella and Granite City Chorus to fill our tower with festive tones.


 

Gardening Club Exclusive Christmas Shopping Day

A day you'll want to clear your calendar for! We will be offering 20% off nearly all departments* to our Gardening Club Card customers for our Christmas Shopping Days. 

Dates: Thursday 27th and Friday 28th of November

Store Opening Hours: 9 am - 5 pm.

Albacappella

Albacappella is an award-winning female a cappella chorus based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. They will be joining us to kick-start the season.

Performance Times: 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm, 1:45 pm - 2:15 pm, 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm


 

 

Granite City Chorus

Continuing with the festive cheer, we will be joined by Granite City Chorus to complete our long weekend of festivities.

Date: Saturday 29th November

Performance Times: 11:30 am - 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Cullen Skink Recipe

The soup originates from the town of Cullen in Moray, on the Scottish northeastern coast. Traditionally, the word "Skink" is used to describe a broth made with beef scrapings. In the 1890s, these scraps of beef became hard to come by. However, at this time, Cullen’s harbour was a thriving fishing port. So the people of the town decided to use smoked haddock in their soup. From this, the Cullen Skink we all love today was created.
