Contract Type: Part-Time, Rolling Two-Week Rota
Hours: Based on shift pattern (see below)

Our award-winning restaurant sits proudly on the top floor of our building, serving everything from morning coffee and freshly baked cakes to handcrafted daily specials and signature afternoon teas. Serving daily from 9:00am – 4:00pm, we’re the perfect spot for a light lunch, a catch-up over coffee, or a special treat. With a focus on warm hospitality, quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’re proud to offer something for everyone.

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly Front of House Service Assistants to join our team on a part-time basis. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, love working with people, and thrive in a busy but fun environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming attitude

  • Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas

  • Assist with the preparation and clearing of tables

  • Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Maintain high standards of presentation and hygiene

Who We’re Looking For

  • A natural people person with a positive, proactive attitude

  • Great communicator and team player

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is helpful but not essential, as training is provided

  • Able to work the rolling rota as outlined below

Shift Patterns

We are currently recruiting for two roles, each based on a two-week rolling rota:

Vacancy 1: Saturday Core, Rolling Rota

  • Week One: Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Week Two: Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

 

Vacancy 2: Midweek Afternoons With Alternate Saturday

  • Week One: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm

  • Week Two: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm
