As the festive season rolls in, what better time to make some traditional shortbread? Our Restaurant has shared their very own recipe so you can create the magic of Drum at home!
Preparation Time 25 minutes
Cooking Time 19 minutes
Total Time 44 minutes
Stork Margarine, softened x 12oz
Icing Sugar x 6 oz
Plain Flour x 12oz
Cornflour x 6oz
Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl/mixer and mix until blended.
Once mixed place into the fridge to chill for around 20 minutes
Once chilled remove from fridge and roll out on a lightly floured surface until roughly 1cm thick and cut to size with cutter
Bake at 160 degrees for roughly 19 minutes or until lightly coloured
Remove from oven and place on to a wire rack
Finish off with a sprinkle of sugar or decorate with royal icing
