Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
Grilled Portobello mushrooms with blue cheese and balsamic dressing
Overall cooking time:
Portobello mushrooms, wiped clean with stalks removed
Blue cheese e.g. stilton or St Agur
The Bay Tree balsamic vinegar dressing
Step 1: Brush mushrooms liberally with The Bay Tree Balsamic Dressing, cover and leave for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Grill mushrooms stalk side down on a pre-heated grill for l to 2 minutes.
Step 3: Turn mushrooms over and place a slice of blue cheese on each one.
Step 4: Grill for 5 minutes or until the mushroom is cooked and the cheese is melted and beginning to bubble.
Step 5: Serve mushrooms on toasted granary bread and drizzle wit h The Bay Tree Balsamic Dressing, serve with a rocket salad.
