Ingredients

  • Tomato Puree (100g)
  • Tomato passata (500ml)
  • White Onions (1)
  • Carrots (4)
  • Potatoes (3)
  • Shredded Mange Tout (1 cup)
  • Peppers (3)
  • Kidney Beans (2 cans)
  • Cinnamon (2 tsp)
  • Sugar (1.5 tbl spoons of)
  • Cayenne Powder (0.5 tbls)
  • Chilli Powder (0.5 tbls)
  • Turnips (1/2 a diced)
  • Veg Oil
  • Method

    • In a pan, drop some: Vegetable oil, one diced onion and 3 peeled and diced potatoes.

    • Once they start to sweat, add the diced carrots, diced peppers, diced turnip, shredded mange tout, 500ml of passata, ½ diced turnip and the 100g of tomato puree.

    • Mix and let cook on medium heat for 3 minutes. Then add: 2 tsp cinnamon, 1.5 tbsp of sugar, ½ tbsp of cayenne powder, ½ tbsp chilli powder and the 2 cans of kidney beans.

    • Mix well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
